Fallen San Bernardino Sheriff's heroes honored

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.

Among those remembered was Deputy Jeremiah MacKay, who was killed by rogue ex-cop Christopher Dorner. MacKay was shot outside a cabin in Big Bear during the manhunt in February. He was 35 years old and leaves behind a wife and two young children.

Alex Collins, MacKay's partner, also received an honor. Collins was wounded in the shootout with Dorner. Collins threw out the first pitch at Wednesday night's Dodgers-Angels baseball game in Anaheim.

Collins underwent several surgeries as part of his recovery.
