OTRC: Sofia Vergara's Madame Tussauds wax figures unveiled on 'The View'

Sofia Vergara got a special surprise during her visit to "The View" on Tuesday, June 4.

The 40-year-old "Modern Family" star was set to unveil two wax figures made in her likeness at Madame Tussads in New York later that day. However, the ladies of "The View" surprised Vergara with her wax figures during her interview on the show. Video of her interview can be seen below.

"Even my feet look the same," Vergara said after the wax figures were revealed. "How did they know my feet?"

Vergara later appeared with the wax figures at Madame Tussades in Times Square. One of the wax figures will stay in New York while the other one will go to Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, according to the wax museum's website.

"Vergara was an enthusiastic participant in the creation of her original wax figures, spending time with a team of Madame Tussauds studio artists for four months," a statement from the Madame Tussauds website said. "During this time, artists took precise measurements and photos of the actress to ensure the figure fully captured her style, exact eye color, posture, and signature hair."

Vergara also donated outfits for both figures. The New York wax figure is wearing a silver embroidered illusion column dress by Marchesa. Vergara actually wore the dress to the 2012 Met Gala.

The Las Vegas wax figure is stylized like the actress' "Modern Family" character, Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, and is wearing a leopard print black dress that Vergara wore for promotional photos for the show's third season.

During her appearance on "The View," Vergara also talked about being a survivor of thyroid cancer and promoted Follow the Script, a campaign that raises awareness of the disease and promotes early detection.
