OTRC: Tony Awards 2013: Full list of winners

The 2013 Tony Awards aired live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on CBS on June 9, and "Kinky Boots" took home the night's top honors.

The new musical by singer Cyndi Lauper and Broadway veteran Harvey Fierstein took home six Tonys. The show won the awards for Best Musical, Best Sound Design of a Musical, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, Best Orchestrations and Best Original Score -- which was done by Lauper.

The show, which led the bunch with 15 nominations, is based on a 2005 film and is about a struggling shoe factory owner who saves his family's business with the help of a drag queen.

"Matilda The Musical" also impressed, earning awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical, Best Scenic Design of a Musical, Best Lighting Design of a Musical and was honored with a special award for "excellence in the theatre."

Tom Hanks received his first Tony nod for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Play at the 67th annual ceremony, but lost the honor to Tracy Lett's of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

Other winners for the night include "The Assembled Parties," "Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella," "Pippin" and "The Nance."
