Linda Cardellini is sharing some happiness with her followers on Twitter.
The newly engaged actress took to her official account to share a photo of her engagement ring -- on her 15-month-old daughter's hand.
"My daughter Lilah Rose wants everyone to know that her mommy and daddy are getting married..." she posted on the micro-blogging platform.
The actress, who welcomed daughter Lilah Rose with boyfriend Steve Rodriguez in February 2012, announced that she's a spouse-to-be on the June 7 episode of "The View." The "Freaks and Geeks" alum explained how her partner popped the big question.
"We have a baby together, and we've known each other since we were 10 years old but last night, in New York City, we got engaged," she said on the ABC talk show.
"We were actually with some of the people I love most: my sister, and my cousins and one of my best friends Maura [Tierney] ... and we were sitting, and he started getting choked up and then got on his knee. It was very beautiful."
Cardellini, 37, rose to fame playing rebellious teenager Lindsay Weir on the short-lived teen comedy series "Freaks and Geeks," which aired for one season in 1999 and also starred James Franco, Jason Segel, Seth Rogen and Busy Phillips. She went on to star in the long-running medical drama, "ER," as nurse Samantha Taggart.
More recently, the actress has been dazzling the small screen as Don Draper's mistress -- Sylvia Rosen -- in the hit AMC show "Mad Men." Cardellini talked about her character's strength on the ABC show, saying: "She brings him [Draper] a little bit to his knees."
She went on to talk about how the show's creator, Matthew Weiner, kept her casting on the popular series a secret.
"When I first joined, I couldn't tell anybody -- nobody knew, not even my family," she said on the show. "I kept it very secret, and they kept it very secret on set -- I had to wear robes and hats and [rode in] blacked out vans -- I felt way more important than I actually am."
