Amy Adams brings the sassy in the upcoming highly-anticipated superhero movie, "Man of Steel" -- and she's dishing on ALL of the juicy details.

In the film, which is set for release on June 14, Henry Cavill portrays a modern version of the legendary comic book hero Superman. The movie follows a young journalist, Clark Kent, who is forced to confront his secret extraterrestrial heritage when Earth is invaded by members of his race -- namely, General Zod, who is played by Michael Shannon.

Adams portrays a central character in the film, Lois Lane, who acts as the young hero's love interest. The Oscar-nominated actress recently talked to George Pennacchio of KABC Television, OTRC.com's parent company, about her character's feisty persona and ... her "super" kiss.

Check out the five highlights from our interview with Adams below.

1. Lois Lane is a force to be reckoned with in this Superman reboot.

"She's like, beyond feminism at this point," Adams joked of her progressive character. "She's in it."

"I think Zack and David and Chris, they really allowed for Lois to exist in a very modern world and allowed her to not be an archetype in any way, but like a real flesh out human being," Adams told OTRC.com.

The actress went on to joke about her character and how she drinks scotch in the film: "Girl's gotta relax somehow, right? She's in a high-stress position."

2. Her character's "super" kiss felt ... well, normal.

"I think at that point he is a normal dude to me, that's the thing about their relationship is that what they find in each other is such a compatibility," Adams said of her character kissing Superman. "There's a, you know, the thing that they have in common is really strong and then this sort of isolation, like I talked about, and sort of they develop a real trust and friendship for one another."

3. She made this film for one person: Herself.

At the November 2011 premiere of her comedy film "The Muppets," Adams told OTRC.com that she made the puppet-filled film for her daughter Aviana. "Man of Steel," however, she made for herself.

"I made this for me," she smiled. "This one was for me. My man, my fiance [Darren Le Gallo], he loves it as well. So, it's fun to get to share that excitement with somebody. But, I grew up loving -- LOVING -- Superman, loving the movies, never really thinking I could be Lois Lane ... but always wanting to be Superman's love interest, you know?"

4. Even though she has played Lois Lane, she says the original will always be her icon.

"That's crazy to think about -- because I still think of Margot Kidder as Lois Lane," Adams said, after being faced with the realization that some young people will associate the famed character with her role.

Kidder filled Lois Lane's journalistic shoes in the classic "Superman" franchise alongside Christopher Reeve in 1978.

"Even though I've now played Lois Lane, she's still my Lois Lane," she said of Kidder. "So, it's surreal to think that people will now see me in that way."

5. A sequel? She's definitely on board.

"You know, if we're lucky enough to get to work with each other, I am so honored and on board," she said. "I had the best experience on this -- I had so much fun."
