The winner of the 2013 Miss USA pageant has been crowned. The pageant took place on June 16 in Las Vegas. Find out which contestant won the crown below.
Miss Connecticut USA, Erin Brady, was crowned Miss USA 2013. Brady is a 25-year-old Financial Accountant for Prudential Retirement in Hartford, Connecticut. Check out PHOTOS of her getting crowned HERE and below.
Brady lasted through three competitions: Swimsuit, evening gowns and interview question. Brady had to answer a question about the U.S. Supreme Court's decision upholding widespread DNA tests. She told the judging panel that she agreed with the decision.
Now that the young beauty has earned the crown, she will receive an apartment in New York for one year and will also spend her title reign on a nationwide speaking tour and raising awareness for breast and ovarian cancers -- the organization's official cause.
The young brunette will also represent the United States at the 62nd Miss Universe pageant on November 9. Last year's Miss USA winner, Olivia Culpo, became the first Miss USA to be crowned Miss Universe since Brook Lee won the title in 1997.
The Miss USA pageant's founder, Donald Trump, took the stage during the ceremony to announce that the global competition will take place in Moscow, Russia for 2013.
The judge's panel for the annual ceremony included fashion designer Betsey Johnson, "Biggest Loser" star Bob Harper, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star and "Glee" actress NeNe Leakes and "Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me" personality Mo Rocca. The show also featured performances from the Jonas Brothers. Nick Jonas and Giuliana Rancic co-hosted the show.
