Four workers were hurt, three of them critically, after a barn frame collapsed at Texas A&M University Saturday.

Emergency medical personnel responded to the accident shortly before 11 a.m.

The accident reportedly involved an approximately 300-foot barn.

The barn frame is part of an $80 million university equestrian complex that's under construction about a mile from the college station campus.

No word on the condition of the workers has been released.

Authorities were working to determine the cause of the collapse.

The first phase of the equestrian center was scheduled to be finished in 2014.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
