Kanye West's recent interview with W magazine is ... well, exactly what you would expect from a Kanye West interview.
The 36-year-old rapper and father to new baby girl -- who is reportedly named North West -- talked to the fashion magazine for its June 2013 issue (WARNING -- article contains many expletives). While he and Kim Kardashian's new addition had not yet entered the world, he was already praising his girlfriend and baby's mother in the interview.
The "Yeezus" performer called the reality personality his "true love," going on to talk about his feelings regarding appearing on her reality show, saying: "Oh, that's just all for love. It's simply that. At a certain point, or always, love is more important than any branding, or any set of cool people, or attempting to impress anyone. Because true love is just the way you feel."
While the "New Slaves" singer offered some sweet words to Kardashian, there wasn't so much love given to her mother Kris Jenner.
The reporter for the story details in the article how he arrived to West's Paris apartment to find "some Kardashians in the house." He goes on to talk about how Rob Kardashian was sprawled across the couch and how Jenner dropped by and started to look around his home -- and that's when the awkward began.
The writer describes the scene as West showing Jenner "some of his favorite objects," to which she initially exclaims, "This is amazing!" He goes on to show her some of his unfinished songs, to which she comments "awesome" and "great job!"
Apparently, those are not the type of responses that West was looking for, seeing as he then set off on what the writer calls a "comic riff," raising his eyebrows and beginning a rant ... in typical West fashion.
"Great job, Baccarat, for making a glass that can hold liquid!" Kanye quipped. He then looked down at his waist, commenting: "Great job, belt loops, for keeping my pants up!"
Despite the "mockery," Jenner laughed off the comments and gave West an affection message before departing.
"I love you," she said, according to the magazine. "You know where to find us, at the George V. Call us tomorrow, if you want."
Despite the seemingly awkward run-in, West went on to talk about his new album -- "Yeezus." The famed rapper explained that the album's title was actually inspired by a 2012 fashion week diss when he was told that he'd be invited to a widely anticipated runway show -- only on the condition that he agree not to attend any other shows.
"The next day I went to the studio with Daft Punk, and I wrote 'I Am a God,'" West explained. "Cause it's like, Yo! Nobody can tell me where I can and can't go. Man, I'm the No. 1 living and breathing rock star. I am Axl Rose; I am Jim Morrison; I am Jimi Hendrix."
