From the looks of the "Thanks for Sharing" trailer, Mark Ruffalo's character, who is a recovering sex addict, is going to have a tough time around Gwyneth Paltrow's character.
The 40-year-old appears in a scene from the trailer wearing sexy black lingerie as her character, Phoebe, tries to seduce Ruffalo's character. The trailer can be seen below. (Warning: The movie is an R-rated film and the trailer contains some explicit scenes.)
The movie marks the directorial debut of "The Kids Are All Right" co-writer Stuart Blumberg. He co-wrote the script for "Thanks for Sharing."
The film tells the story of three people, including Ruffalo's character, named Adam, who are in the process of undergoing a 12-step treatment for sex addiction. Paltrow plays Adam's love interest, who doesn't quite believe that being a sex addict is a real problem.
"Isn't that something guys just say when they get caught cheating," Phoebe asks when Adam reveals his addiction.
The film also features "1600 Penn" and Broadway "Book of Mormon" star Josh Gad, singer Pink -- who is credited in the trailer as Alecia Moore (her real name), Joely Richardson and "Almost Famous" star Patrick Fugit. Pink previously had cameos on films like "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," "Catacombs," "Rollerball" and "Moulin Rouge." This will be her first major role.
"Thanks for Sharing" hits theaters on September 20. Check out the trailer below.
