Kat Von D has announced that her engagement is over -- via Twitter.
The 31-year-old tattoo artist revealed that she and her fiance, electro-house music producer and DJ Deadmau5, are no longer engaged. The television personality took to her official Twitter page to share a number of cryptic Tweets.
"Man, I'm a fool," she posted on June 26 at 1 a.m. The next morning, she seemed to lay it all out there in a much more detailed message to her followers.
While Von D's post seems to hint that her fiance was unfaithful, Deadmau5 took to his official Facebook page to offer his side of the story -- and over 7 million of his fans have "liked" it.
"At the end of June, it was clear that the relationship was not working and we mutually ended the engagement," he wrote, along with an explanation of their earlier break-up. "I was not, at any point, unfaithful to Kat during our time together."
The pair became engaged in December 2012 when Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Thomas Zimmerman, proposed to the personality on Twitter. Von D responded to his message on the micro-blogging platform, posting: "YES!"
In April, the tattoo artist opened up to People magazine about the details of the pair's wedding, saying that it would feature an underwater theme and be "the furthest thing from traditional." It was set to take place on August 10 in Los Angeles with over 200 guests in attendance.
The pair -- who started dating in September 2012 -- had a rough beginning, having announced their break-up only months later in November ... only to reconcile shortly afterwards.
Kat Von D was previously engaged to Jesse James, ex-husband of Sandra Bullock. Von D and James broke up in September 2011 after two years together.
