A pair of police officers in Milwaukee, Wis., made a traffic stop they'll never forget.

The two patrol officers thought they were chasing a speeding drunk driver who had run several red lights. But once the car pulled over, they found a woman in labor, and she was very far along.

"I could see that she was actually giving birth. The head was fully crowned and everything. At that point I yelled across to my partner, 'We're having a baby,'" said Officer Xavier Benitez.

There wasn't enough time to get to the hospital, so the officers delivered the baby themselves right there in the car.

Paramedics wrapped up the newborn, named Isabella, and whisked her off to the hospital with her mother. Police gave the dad and little brother a ride. The officers are still in awe and have already stopped by for a visit.
