Although "Ready for Love" was canceled shortly after its April premiere, one of the male contestants did eventually find love with the show's executive producer, Eva Longoria.
The former "Desperate Housewives" star recently confirmed to People magazine that she is dating Ernesto Arguello, a Miami-based entrepreneur and philanthropist who was one of the men on the reality matchmaking show.
While there were rumors that the two were dating a few months ago, Longoria told the magazine that it wasn't true at the time, but they are dating now.
"I think that's why our relationship is so special -- we truly started as friends," the 38-year-old actress and "Devious Maids" producer said to the magazine. She later joked about the dating rumors and said, "I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see!"
Longoria tweeted about the magazine article on July 4 and said, "Happy to share NOW that it's true! Couldn't be happier."
Arguello, 34, responded to Longoria's tweet with, "Me too baby, I LOVE YOU."
Longoria, who recently earned her master's degree in Chicano Studies from CSUN, was previously linked to New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. The two split in Oct. 2012.
The actress was married to 31-year-old NBA San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker for three years before their divorce was finalized in January 2011. She was previously married to actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004.
