Have George Clooney and Stacy Keibler called it quits for real this time?
People magazine reported on Monday, July 8, that the two, who have been the subject of breakup rumors before, split last month and plan to remain friends. The outlet quoted a source close to the couple as saying: "Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that."
A rep for Clooney declined to comment about the 52-year-old actor's personal life, while a spokesperson for Keibler, 33, had no immediate response when reached by OTRC.com. The report comes weeks before the premiere of the former WWE star's new Lifetime Television reality series, "Supermarket Superstar," which begins airing on July 22.
Clooney has long signaled his disinterest in the idea of having kids -- even joking at a press conference in 2009 about adopting some of Brad Pitt's children. He also said on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" show in January 2011 that he had no plans to marry. He was previously married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 until 1993.
In October 2012, E! Online quoted Keibler herself as saying that she is "not really interested in thinking about marriage or kids at all."
Clooney and Keibler, 33, began seeing each each other in the summer of 2011. They have vacationed together and attended many high-profile celebrity events, including the Golden Globes and the Oscars (watch videos of the two at the 2013 events, above). In 2012, the Keibler accompanied Clooney at his fundraiser for President Barack Obama during his re-election campaign. The event raised $15 million (see PHOTOS of the two there).
