Pedestrian killed on Metrolink rail crossing in Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.

The incident occurred at the Baker Avenue crossing between the Upland and Rancho Cucamonga stations around 9:30 a.m.

Train 334 was headed to San Bernardino when it hit the man who was allegedly trespassing on the tracks, according to police.

Metrolink brought in buses to transport stranded train passengers.

Investigators are now trying to determine what led to the accident.
