John Rzeznik, front man for the Goo Goo Dolls, wed his longtime girlfriend, Melina Gallo, on July 26 in Malibu, California.
The 48-year-old rock star talked to People magazine in a recent interview about marrying Gallo and explained, "We've been together a while and I'm not going anywhere and we'd like to start a family. I'd prefer to be married when I have kids."
The couple, who began dating in 2005, tied the knot in front of 120 guests, which included his fellow Goo Goo Dolls band members. Gallo wore an Enzoani gown while Rzeznik wore a dark green Gucci suit.
This is the second marriage for Rzeznik. He was previously married to model Laurie Farinacci from 1990 to 2002.
The couple danced to Adele's cover of the Bob Dylan song "Make You Feel My Love" and Rzeznik told People, "We made it perfectly clear that I would not be singing at all at our wedding. Our song was Adele's 'Make You Feel My Love.' I love her version of that song."
Rzeznik and his Goo Goo Dolls band members are currently on tour to promote their 10th album "Magnetic." He and Gallo are planning a honeymoon in Italy and France once the tour is done in the fall.
