OTRC: Loretta Lynn's daughter dies at age 64

Country star Loretta Lynn is mourning the loss of her oldest daughter, Betty Sue Lynn.

Betty, one of the singer's six children, died at age 64 from complications of emphysema, a lung disorder, in Waverly, Tennessee, near her mother's ranch in Hurricane Mills, the Associated Press reported.

"The Lynn Family appreciates all your prayers, love, and support of our family's loss," Loretta's rep said in a statement posted on the singer's Facebook page. "Betty was Loretta's oldest daughter. Betty leaves two daughters Lynn Markworth and Audrey Dyer."

Loretta, 81, is known for songs such as "One's on the Way," "Love Is the Foundation" and "Coal Miner's Daughter," which is also the name of her autobiography. She was born in the coalfields of eastern Kentucky in 1932.
