Here's a story that will warm your heart.
John Stamos recently paid a hospital visit to 19-year-old Kaitlyn Dobrow, a California woman who had to get her arms and legs amputated after contracting bacterial meningitis ... and that's not all. The "Full House" alum, 49, says he's taking her to Disneyland.
Stamos had posted a photo on Instagram that shows him by Dobrow's bedside at the UC Irvine Medical Center in Irvine, California, saying: "I'm ONLY doing this cause they asked. I said no press. but this story is a must read- plus me and katie have a date to Disneyland."
He included a link to a New York Daily News article about Dobrow's ordeal. In addition to her amputations, Dobrow also required skin grafts. Her mother, Kathi, shared a similar photo showing Stamos on Facebook.
"Hi all Im back with updates, I now have a bit of a working computer, sorry for the delay but I will catch u up.... This is from Kathi Dobrow....The grafts are healing beautifully and she'll be going to rehab on 8/16," she wrote.
"She's very nervous about leaving the hospital where she feels safe and knows and loves the staff, but I know she'll do great once she gets to rehab," the message said. "She and Kristen r just hanging with John Stamous.. cool beans We Love You Katie!!"
