NBC talk show host Jimmy Fallon has revealed that his and wife Nancy Juvonen's baby daughter Winnie Rose was born via a surrogate mother.
The couple welcomed their daughter, who is their first child, on July 23. Fallon talked about her with presenters of NBC's "Today" show, which aired segments on Friday, Aug. 9 ahead of a longer interview set to be broadcast next week.
"My wife and I had been trying a while to have a baby," he said." We tried a bunch of things ? so we had a surrogate."
"It's like what everyone says -- when you have a baby, there's nothing like it," he added later on the show. "I can't stop looking at her. When I'm not holding her, I'm looking at photos of her on my phone. She's the coolest thing, the best thing to ever happen to me."
Other celebrities who have used a surrogate mother to carry and deliver their babies include Nicole Kidman, Robert De Niro, former "American Idol" judge and songwriter Kara DioGuardi, "The Hunger Games" actress Elizabeth Banks and E! personality Giuliana Rancic.
