The holy month of Ramadan is not only about fasting, it's about giving and sharing. A 10-year-old boy decided to give the bike money he was saving for his birthday to the Islamic Center of Temecula Valley in Murrieta to help build a new mosque.

The Center was so touched by Magan Ali's generosity that he was given a new bike and helmet Thursday.

The boy's father says his son took the message of ramadan seriously.

"He said that, 'Dad, I'm only riding the bike but the mosque needs to be built. So whatever I have, I give.' And it makes me proud," said Omar Ali, the boy's father. "He's a good kid."

Magan was also given $800 at the celebration.
