David Cassidy was recently arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in the town of Schodack, near the city of Albany, in central New York.
A rep for the 63-year-old "Partridge Family" alum and former 1970s teen idol had no immediate comment. Police said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com that on Wednesday, Aug. 21, just after midnight, officers arrested Cassidy on suspicion of felony DWI and failing to dim his headlights.
The actor reportedly had a .10 percent alcohol content at the time of his arrest, the Albany Times Union newspaper reported. Cassidy was later arraigned at a local court and sent to a county jail. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond, records show. Cassidy has been ordered to return to court on Sept. 4.
This marks Cassidy's second drunk driving arrest in more than two years -- he was found guilty of a 2010 DUI charge in Florida, where he lives, and sentenced to one year of probation, according to court records. His driver's license was also suspended for six months.
