"NCIS: Los Angeles" star Eric Christian Olsen and his wife, actress Sarah Wright, are now the proud parents of a baby boy, according to reports.
The couple welcomed a son named Wyatt Oliver on Aug. 16, People magazine reported on Monday, Aug. 26. The baby was born at 7: 45 p.m. and weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces.
"I've been a part of some pretty incredible experiences in my life, but I've never been a part of something so surreal, so life affirming and so insanely beautiful as watching my son come into this world," Olsen, 36, told the magazine.
This is the first child for the couple. Olsen and Wright, 29, wed in June 2012 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Olsen also revealed to the magazine that his wife went through 17 hours of labor "before we finally got to meet Wyatt."
Olsen plays Detective Marty Deeks on "NCIS: Los Angeles." He has also appeared in shows like "Community," "Brothers & Sisters" and "Tru Calling." Olsen starred in the "Dumb & Dumber" prequel "Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd" as a younger version of Jim Carrey's character Lloyd Christmas.
Wright has appeared in films like "21 & Over," "The House Bunny," "Made of Honor" and has had recurring roles on series such as "Parks and Recreation," "7th Heaven" and "The Loop."
