Mother, daughter found dead at Stanton senior living complex

STANTON, Calif.

The bodies showed no obvious signs of trauma and the cause of the deaths were not immediately known. However, investigators are looking into the deaths, describing them as "unusual."

The autopsies were completed on Wednesday, but the results are pending toxicology tests. The identities of the women were not released.

Workers at the Park Place Apartments in the 7600 block of Katella Avenue discovered the bodies on Tuesday while checking on the residents.

When police arrived, there were two dogs preventing the officers from entering the building. Animal control removed the dogs, and investigators were able to enter the scene.
