Katie Couric is off the market.
The "Katie" host's boyfriend, John Molner, popped the question recently, Couric's spokesperson confirmed to People magazine on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Molner reportedly proposed with a diamond ring at sunset on a beach in East Hampton, New York.
Couric, 56, and Molner, a 50-year-old partner at investment firm Brown Brothers Harriman, have been dating for nearly two years.
"Yes it's true! So touched by all the kind Tweets & warm wishes-thank you," Couric tweeted on Tuesday. "A great end to the summer & looking fwd to seeing you all Monday!!"
This will be the second marriage for Couric. Her first husband, Jay Monahan, died in 1998 from colon cancer. Couric is the mother of two daughters, Ellie, 21, and Carrie, 17.
Couric's show "Katie" is set to kick off its second season on Sept. 9.
