Authorities are searching for two to three known gang members who barricaded themselves inside a house in Boyle Heights Sunday.

LAPD responded to a call of a party on the 2500 block of Fairmont Street around 3:30 a.m.

Responding officers asked a few known gang members to leave the party. That's when they say the suspects returned with a handgun and assaulted the homeowner.

The suspects fled the scene and barricaded themselves in a home nearby.

SWAT officers reportedly surrounded and entered the home around 11:15 a.m. but found no one inside.

No shots were fired during this incident.
