Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson reunite to play husband and wife in "Insidious 2," the sequel to the 2010 horror film.
The actors' characters, Josh and Renai Lambert, attempt the leave the past behind them but cannot seem to escape it, even moving into his childhood home. Meanwhile, paranormal events continue and their son Dalton, played by Ty Simpkins of "Iron Man 3" fame, sees dead people when he's asleep.
"They said, 'We want to make a better movie this time and want to make it scarier and weirder' and take further what they had established in the first one and they deliver, absolutely," Byrne told OTRC.com at the "Insidious 2" premiere in Los Angeles.
The movie is set for release on Sept. 13 -- Friday the 13th.
