Danica Patrick is set to co-host the fourth annual American Country Awards (ACAs) alongside country star Trace Adkins.

This will mark the second major TV hosting gig and the first live one for the 31-year-old NASCAR driver, who served as a co-host on the ABC show "The View" in 2006. Adkins, 51, has hosted the American Country Awards every year since the ceremony was first created by the FOX network. This year's show takes place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and will air live on the channel on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET.

"I'm so excited to host the American Country Awards with Trace Adkins," Patrick said in a FOX statement obtained by OTRC.com. "I have no doubt he'll be able to keep up with me. I've become a huge fan of country music since I came to NASCAR and have been fortunate to be in videos with Miranda Lambert and Colt Ford. This is going to be a really cool experience and I'm excited to be a part of it. It's going to be a great show!"

"I can't wait to see if I have what it takes to keep up with this racing superstar," Adkins said.

The country star hosted the 2012 ACAs last December with fellow singer and Broadway and TV actress Kristin Chenoweth.

At the 2013 ceremony, Adkins, drummer Kenny Aronoff and other artists will perform "Carol of the Drum," also known as "Little Drummer Boy." The song is featured on Adkins' new Celtic-infused Christmas album, "The King's Gift."
