Oxnard man arrested for stabbing woman in throat

OXNARD, Calif.

A 30-year-old Oxnard woman was hospitalized at St. Johns' with a stab wound to her throat at about 10 p.m. Thursday. The woman gave Oxnard Police investigators a basic description of the suspect and his vehicle.

Following several leads, investigators identified the suspect as 21-year-old Oxnard resident Carlos Arreola.

Arreola was located and arrested in the area of Wooley Road and Rose Avenue at about 6 a.m. Friday.

The victim was expected to make a full recovery.
