Charlie Sheen reported for jury duty at a Los Angeles courthouse on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013.
The 48-year-old actor talked to reporters about his female friends, once called "goddesses" and now dubbed "angels."
"One for each failed marriage," said Sheen, who has been married three times, including to actress Denise Richards, and was known for hanging out with porn stars during a 2011 personal meltdown.
Sheen later shared on Twitter a photo of what appeared to be a juror's badge.
"I took one look at the guy, and knew immediately: mistrial," he said.
UPDATE: OTRC.com has learned that Sheen was not chosen to serve on a jury and was dismissed around 2:50 p.m. after serving his civic duty by reporting for service.
OTRC.com's parent company, KABC Television, was at the scene to cover the civil negligence trial over Michael Jackson's death. Closing arguments were made. The trial began 21 days ago.
Jackson's family is suing AEG Live, a concert promoter that worked with the singer on a London concert series before his death. They blame the company for hiring Conrad Murray, the doctor who is in jail after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in his 2009 death. AEG Live denies any wrongdoing and says Jackson hired the physician himself.
