The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday off the side of Mt. Baldy Road.
When authorities arrived, they discovered the vehicle 150 feet down from the road. They used special equipment to repel to the crash site.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. It doesn't appear anyone else was involved. Investigators are still trying to figure out exactly what caused the crash.
