The assault happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 44200 block of Division Street.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to a hospital. He later died from a head injury.
A man was taken into custody. Authorities said they are withholding the suspect's identity due to the ongoing investigation.
