Rare white lion cubs make debut at South Korean zoo

YONGIN, South Korea

The cubs were brought outside for the first time at Samsung Everland safari park in the city of Yongin and were seen playing on the grass.

The two males were born on Aug. 28, bringing the total number of white lions at the zoo to eight. They will be shown to the public with the entire white lion family Friday, which is World Animal Day.

According to safari officials, the cubs are very healthy.

There are only about 300 white lions in the world.
