Kristen Bell and longtime beau Dax Shepard recently wed after being engaged for more than three and a half years.
The 33-year-old "Veronica Mars" and "House of Lies" star and the 38-year-old "Parenthood" actor share a 6-month-old baby daughter, Lincoln. The two got engaged in late 2009 and had said they would not wed until same-sex marriages were made legal in California. After a Supreme Court ruling in June overturned legislation that had banned them, the couple tweeted messages signaling their intention to marry.
UPDATE: Kristen Bell wrote this on Twitter on Friday afternoon: "Wife coffee tastes way better than regular coffee in the morning :) @daxshepard1."
People magazine reported on Friday, Oct. 18 that Bell and Shepard have tied the knot. According to Us Weekly, the two wed on Thursday at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office, adding that they had initially intended to just obtain their marriage license.
Couples marrying in Los Angeles county have three months to tie the knot wherever they want after receiving the document. Us Weekly said they accepted an offer by a courthouse employee to wed in a ceremony on the spot, inside the building, and that Bell shed tears. The couple's spokespeople had no immediate comment about the reports.
