Dolly Parton tweeted that she was "a little tired and sore" after getting into a fender bender in Nashville on Monday, Oct. 21.
"I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good... Just a little tired and sore," Parton tweeted on Monday. "Resting at home now!"
The 67-year-old singer/songwriter suffered minor injuries, according to CNN. She was in the front passenger seat at the time of the incident. A statement by the Nashville police blamed the driver of the other car, which failed to yield to the SUV Parton was riding in.
Parton's longtime friend, Judy Ogle, was driving the SUV at the time of the accident. The two were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to treat minor injuries, according to the news outlet.
Earlier this week, Parton showed off her rap skills while appearing on "The Queen Latifah Show." Latifah and Parton co-starred together in the 2012 film "Joyful Noise."
