High-speed motorcycle chase ends in Bellflower

BELLFLOWER, Calif.

The pursuit began in the Irvine area shortly after 3 p.m. near John Wayne Airport.

The motorcycle rider was driving as fast as 120 mph on the 405 Freeway.

The rider took the northbound 605 to the 91 westbound before stopping at a residence in the Bellflower area. He parked his bike in a front driveway and entered the house.

Minutes later a man came out of the residence as officers pulled up with guns drawn. That person was taken into custody without incident.

It was not immediately revealed why police were chasing the suspect.
