The highly-anticipated trailer to "X-Men: Days of Future Past" has been released!
After director Bryan Singer teased fans last week with a 7-second teaser clip of the trailer on the "X-Men" Movies official Instagram account, the full version of the trailer was released on Oct. 29.
Singer warned fans in advance of the trailer's premiere, tweeting on Oct. 28 to his more than 120,000 Twitter followers, "The #XMen trailer will be up at 6AM PT tomorrow. Hope you enjoy," where he also included a link to the film's official Youtube page.
The "X-Men" official Instagram account also shared the news of the trailer's release on Tuesday, Oct. 29, posting a photo with the caption, "They must change the past to save their future. The trailer finds members of the original "X-Men" films coming together with younger versions of themselves, stemming from the 2011 series reboot, "X-Men: First Class" to fight a war across two time periods. The film serves as a direct sequel to 2006's "X-Men: The Last Stand," "X-Men: First Class" as well as a continuation of 2013's "The Wolverine."
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" boasts an all-star cast of familiar faces from the multiple films in the franchise, including Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, James McAvoy, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Nicholas Hoult, Shawn Ashmore and Jennifer Lawrence.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" hits theaters on May 23, 2014. Watch the full trailer below.
