Chew on this -- actors and brothers Mark Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg (of NKOTB fame) are getting their own reality show.
The new docu-series, "Wahlburgers," will give viewers a "behind-the-scenes look" at the Boston-area hamburger restaurant by the same name that the pair opened with their other brother Paul in late 2011. The show premieres on Jan. 22, 2014.
"An homage to their humble beginnings, the hamburger restaurant is home base for the gang from the old neighborhood, including the real Johnny 'Drama' and of course their spirited mother Alma," A&E Network, the cable channel set to air the show, said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Mark served as the executive producer of the HBO series "Entourage," which was based loosely on his own life and experience moving from the Boston area, where he grew up, to Los Angeles. Johnny "Drama" Chase was one of the characters -- main star Vince's brother. A movie adaptation of the hit show is currently being developed, it was revealed earlier this month.
