Chris Brown has checked out of rehab and will continue his anger management treatment as an outpatient, OTRC.com has learned.

The 24-year-old R&B star had entered an undisclosed facility more than two weeks ago after he was charged with misdemeanor assault following a confrontation with a man outside a hotel in Washington D.C. He pleaded not guilty.

The 24-year-old R&B star had entered an undisclosed facility in October after he was charged with misdemeanor assault following a confrontation with a man outside a hotel in Washington D.C. He pleaded not guilty.

"Chris is continuing his rehab program as an outpatient and is also completing his community service in the Los Angeles area," His attorney, Mark Geragos, said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com on Thursday, Nov. 14. "He appreciates all of your encouragement and support."

The singer left the rehab center this week and has also since begun doing community service, the lawyer added. Brown was sentenced to 1,000 hours of community labor after his parole was revoked temporarily earlier this year amid a hit-and-run case, which he has since settled. Brown is still on probation from his 2009 assault case against Rihanna. If convicted of assault, it may be revoked. He is due in court on Nov. 25.
