Elizabeth Berkley is set to dance her way over to ABC Family's "Melissa & Joey."
The former "Saved by the Bell" actress, who was voted off of "Dancing With The Stars" on Nov. 11, has booked a guest starring role on the popular comedy series.
Berkley will appear in an episode titled "Couple's Therapy." She will play Dr. Kathryn Miller, Melissa and Joey's couples counselor and ex-girlfriend of Joey, OTRC.com has learned exclusively. The episode will air sometime in 2014.
"Melissa & Joey" stars fellow former 1990s TV stars Melissa Joan Hart, who rose to fame as the title characters in "Clarissa Explains It All" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," and Joey Lawrence, who starred alongside Mayim Bialik in the sitcom "Blossom." The series premiered on ABC Family in 2010.
Berkley told OTRC.com following last week's "Dancing With The Stars" show that she had a project in the works, but was coy about revealing what she had up her sleeves.
"Some wonderful doors have been starting to open and phones ringing and all that good stuff. So, this platform has been amazing. I will get more specific with you as soon as something is signed on the line. I just can't say, you know. I'm not someone that likes to talk 'til it's real."
