Seven vehicles were spray-painted with swastikas on the 500 block of Las Casas Avenue. All but one were Toyota Priuses.
Maritza Ramon-Roberts said she was with her 10-year-old daughter when she found not only a swastika painted on her car, but anti-Semitic messages scribbled in German as well.
"My daughter was outside when she saw it. She started crying, she was upset about it. She didn't understand what was going on," Ramon-Roberts said.
Neighbors say they are shocked that this happened in their normally safe community.
"Everybody is very happy in this neighborhood. All kinds of people tolerant of one another," said Lydia Reed of Pacific Palisades.
A suspect description was not immediately available.
