Highland hit-and-run crash leaves man dead

HIGHLAND, Calif.

The crash was reported around 5:20 p.m. on Sterling Avenue just north of Baseline Street.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's Highland Station says a man was trying to cross the street when he was struck and killed. His identity has not been released.

According to a witness, the suspect was possibly driving a blue or gray Chevrolet pickup truck or SUV.
