Britney Spears spoke about her days playing "spin the bottle" with Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake on "The Mickey Mouse Club," while promoting her new album and Las Vegas residency on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
In the interview, airing on Dec. 3, Spears was asked by DeGeneres about comments made by Gosling earlier this year to the U.K.'s The Sunday Times magazine, in which he revealed the two played "spin the bottle." Spears assures DeGeneres, however, she only kissed her former boyfriend, Timberlake.
"I did that, but I didn't kiss him though," Spears said to DeGeneres. "The only person I kissed was Justin [Timberlake]. It never landed on him [Gosling]."
The singer co-starred with Gosling and Timberlake, as well as Christina Aguilera, 'N Sync's JC Chasez and actress Keri Russell on "The Mickey Mouse Club" in the early 1990s. She went onto date Timberlake during their rise to fame before breaking up in 2002.
Spears also talked about her upcoming Las Vegas residency show, "Britney: Piece of Me," which is scheduled to kick off at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Dec. 27. The singer described the 90-minute show as the hardest she has ever put together.
"The show is probably the hardest show I have ever done," Spears said. "I'm rehearsing really, really hard for it. I'm dancing the most I've ever danced and it's gonna be fun, it's gonna be a lot of fun."
The singer spoke about songs on her new album, "Britney Jean," released on Dec. 3 (read a track-by-track review). Spears spoke about writing songs about her breakup with ex-fiance Jason Trawick, calling the process therapeutic.
"I think it's healthy. I think if you're ready to share that with the world, you know, personal things like that, it's very therapeutic and good for you to do that," Spears said.
