The Los Angeles County coroner's office released autopsy results on Wednesday, Dec. 4, detailing Paul Walker's cause of death.

According to the autopsy report, which was completed on Tuesday, Walker died from "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries." The driver, Roger Rodas, died of "multiple traumatic injuries." Both deaths have been ruled by the coroner to be accidents. Results from the toxicology tests will take another six to eight weeks.

Walker, 40, and Rodas died after the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT they were in crashed and erupted into flames on Nov. 30 near Rye Canyon Loop and Kelly Johnson Parkway in Valencia, north of Los Angeles. The crash took place around 3:30 p.m. and Walker had just attended a car and toy drive event in the area.

ABC News reports that the coroner's office told the outlet that two different doctors performed the autopsies on Walker and Rodas. The doctors found that Rodas died on impact and Walker "maybe" died a few seconds after from the combined effects of the crash and fire.

Universal Pictures announced on Dec. 4 that it has shut down production on "Fast & Furious 7" indefinitely following Walker's death, according to The Associated Press. The studio said in a statement the film will shut down "for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise." The film had begun shooting in September.

Walker is survived by a 15-year-old daughter, Meadow Rain, who is from a past relationship.

Walker's longtime co-star and friend, Vin Diesel, (showed up at the late actor's crash site memorial on Monday, Dec. 2 to thanks fans for their support. "If my brother were here right now and he saw all the love that you were bringing here, if he could see for himself that all of you have showed up to show my brother love at this hard time and the family gets to see all of the love you have shown Paul, it's gonna stay with me forever," Diesel said.

On Dec. 1, just one day after Walker's accident, Walker's other former co-star, Tyrese Gibson, visited the crash site memorial, where he appeared visibly emotional as he mourned the loss of his friend (see video).

Paul Walker Sr., Walker's father, spoke to OTRC.com's parent company, KABC Television, on Dec. 2, where he recalled many of his fondest memories of his late son.

"You lost a spirit," Paul's father said. "Maybe it's meant to be this way. I'm devastated and it comes in waves."
