Keri Russell's Brooklyn home burglarized, police say

NEW YORK

Investigators said the 37-year-old actress woke up around 3 a.m. when she heard footsteps and voices in her Brooklyn home. She found a window and front door open and discovered that her laptop, jewelry and purse were missing.

Police say the actress didn't see the thieves. But soon after that break-in, her 70-year-old neighbor also awoke to find a burglar. The neighbor was able to provide a description to officers.

They searched the area and arrested a father and son, and some stolen property was recovered. Police are trying to determine if the two suspects are the ones who broke into Russell's home.

Russell is known for her roles in several TV shows in the 1990s, including "Felicity." She currently stars in the show "The Americans."
