Amanda Bynes has left the Los Angeles inpatient treatment facility she was in following her hospitalization to undergo psychiatric treatment earlier this year.

Bynes' mother's attorney, Tamar Arminak, confirmed to People magazine that the "Easy A" actress has left her treatment facility in Malibu, California and is recovering at her parents' Los Angeles home.

"Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery," Arminak told People magazine. "Amanda has completed her impatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day."

Bynes was hospitalized earlier this year on a 5150 hold after allegedly setting fire in a neighbor's driveway in Thousand Oaks, California. The former Nickelodeon star was later put under the conservatorship of her mother after the incident and subsequent hospitalization.

Now in the care of her parents, the Bynes family lawyer said in a statement that the actress is feeling happy and hopes to start her own fashion line in the near future.

"She's now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design," Arminak said to People magazine. "She's mentioned before she's interested in creating a clothing line."

Arminak went on to say Bynes was continung outpatient treatment and is happy to have restored her relationship with her family.

Bynes displayed increasingly alarming behavior leading up to her hospitalization. The actress was arrested in 2012 on suspicion of drunk driving in Los Angeles and was arrested in New York City for marijuana possession and was accused of throwing a bong out of her apartment window, a claim she denied.

The actress also infamously fired off a number of colorful tweets bashing celebrities she deemed "ugly" (see list).
