Adam Levine appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Dec. 5, where he talked about being named People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" and he and model fiance Behati Prinsloo's obsession with the mobile game "Candy Crush."
Levine told DeGeneres that his obsession with the game "Candy Crush" has become so intense, that he even went so far as to use Prinsloo's finger, while she was asleep, to access the game on her iPhone. The full interview can be viewed below.
"This is so sad, but you know how they have the thumbprint IDs on the iPhones?," Levine said to DeGeneres. "I needed to buy more lives! Which cost 99 cents by the way, what a racket, right? The habit's free and then they mess with you. And she was asleep, so I kind of gingerly [lifts DeGeneres' arm, motioning finger to point]. She kind of half woke up and said, 'what are you doing?' and I said, 'I playing Candy Crush.'"
DeGeneres also spoke to Levine about recently being named "Sexiest Man Alive" by People magazine, a title Levine said has been met with interesting reaction from the members of his family.
"My fiance burst into laughter, keeping me humble as usual," Levine said. "My mother said, she asked me very sweetly if that makes her the sexiest mom alive, which is really cute and also kind of weird, and I said 'I guess so.' And my father just said, 'you're welcome, son.'"
The singer also talked about his finace, whom he became engaged to in July, telling DeGeneres the two are perfect for each other because of how messy they both are.
"We're both super messy. It's kind of amazing actually, it looks like a tornado hit wherever we hang out," Levine said. "There's a big difference between dirty and messy. Dirty is gross. Dirty means you're unhygienic, you don't shower, it's gross. Messy is like, 'I don't care that that shirt's on the floor.'"
Levine is currently serving as a coach on the NBC singing competition series "The Voice," where the Maroon 5 front man has three singers on his team heading into the semifinals on Dec. 9.
