Tustin bank branch robbed; suspect sought

TUSTIN, Calif.

A white male between 40-50 years old wearing a brown sports coat, brown hat, brown pants and a plaid shirt walked into the US Bank branch located on the 13400 block of Newport Avenue in Tustin Wednesday about 3:30 p.m., according to Tustin Police.

The man approached a teller and gave a note demanding money. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect stands about 6 feet tall with a medium build and wears black-frame prescription-style glasses.
