4.6-magnitude Mexico earthquake felt in Southern California

A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck northern Mexico Thursday night.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck just before 9:30 p.m. 27 miles north-northeast of Camalu.

The preliminary magnitude of the quake was 5.2, but it was later downgraded. The temblor was reportedly felt across parts of San Diego County.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
