Southern California red flag warning in effect through Monday

The warning affects residents from Ventura County to the Los Angeles County coast and to the San Gabriel Valley.

A high wind warning for the Inland Empire expired 6 p.m. Sunday. Some areas of he Inland Empire saw gusts up to 80 mph.

The red flag warning is affecting parking in Pasadena. The fire department has issued parking restrictions on narrow and winding roads in urban-wildland areas, including the Rose Bowl. The fire department is asking drivers to be aware of parking restrictions, especially due to Rose Parade activity in the area.

Temperatures are expected to stay warm through Monday and into the week. Local mountains and the high desert will be cool in the 50s and 60s.
