"The Bachelorette" alum Emily Maynard is engaged again!
The 27-year-old, who has an 8-year-old daughter named Ricki, is set to marry boyfriend Tyler Johnson, a 27-year-old management consultant. He proposed to her on Saturday, Jan. 4, with FIVE diamond-studded rings, according to Us Weekly.
"We're really excited!!" Maynard told the magazine in comments posted on Tuesday evening. "He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki and me rings. It was so sweet! Ricki loves him more than she likes me!"
Maynard shared on her Instagram page on Jan. 1 a photo of her with Johnson celebrating the New Year (see above).
Maynard has been engaged several times before. She was set to wed her daughter's father, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, who died in a plane crash in 2004 while she was pregnant with the girl.
In 2011, she won season 15 of the ABC dating show "The Bachelor" after star Brad Womack chose her as the winner. They got engaged and later broke up.
Maynard was later cast as the season 8 "Bachelorette" and chose Jef Holm as the winner. They also got engaged on the show and later split. Us reported that Maynard and her new fiance met several months before she filmed "The Bachelorette" and began dating after she and Holm split.
In May 2013, Maynard told OTRC.com, regarding her search for love: "I'm still a young, you know, 27-year-old single girl so I haven't totally taken it off the plate. But I've just shifted my focus on other things. My mom always said it will happen when you least expect it, so I'm not expecting it."
