Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder may no longer be a couple, but they still celebrate each other's birthdays.
The two, along with Dobrev's close friend, actress and "Dancing With The Stars" pro Julianne Hough, celebrated Dobrev's 25th birthday following the 2014 People's Choice Awards ceremony. The three were captured in an embrace while holding a cake by "The Vampire Diaries" co-creator Kevin Williamson (above, right).
Somerhalder took to Twitter to also wish Dobrev a happy birthday, saying, "Happy Birthday @ninadobrev !!! The world loves you! We all do ; ) Enjoy the moment, enjoy the day, enjoy the year!"
Hough also shared a photo of the two on her official Instagram account, saying, in part, "Happy Birthday my beautiful @ninadobrev you are kind, smart, adventurous, loving, honest, beautiful, mysterious, free, funny, and so on and so forth..."
Dobrev and Somerhalder dated from 2011 until mid-2013. The two remain co-stars on the CW's "The Vampire Diaries," where the two are still love interests on the show.
The two made an appearance on stage together at the People's Choice Awards on Jan. 8. They accepted the award for Favorite Onscreen Chemistry. The two, who shared a check-to-cheek kiss on stage, poked fun at their breakup, with Dobrev saying, "It's a good thing it's not awkward."
